Veritas Sync

Veritas Sync is a Shopify app that automatically applies collections, market availability, pricing, image alt text and SEO fields to products published from print-on-demand providers. This policy explains what the app stores, why, and how to have it deleted.
What we store
When you install the app, we store the following against your store's domain:
- Your store's myshopify.com domain
- Shopify access and refresh tokens, and the permissions you granted
- Subscription state: trial start time, billing status, plan and charge reference
- Optional print-on-demand provider API tokens you choose to paste in Settings (used only to read production cost when Shopify does not have it)
- Print-on-demand providers detected on your store, and the evidence used to detect them (vendor and tag names)
- Your sync rules and any per-product overrides you configure
- A sync history: product ID, product title, provider, which rules were applied, and the outcome
What we do not store
Veritas Sync does not read, request or store customer personal data, orders, addresses or payment details. It does not request those permissions from Shopify, so it has no access to them. Payments are handled entirely by Shopify Billing; we never see card details.
Why we store it
Tokens are required to apply changes to your products on your behalf. Provider detection and rules determine what the app does when a product is published. The sync history exists so you can see what the app changed and diagnose anything unexpected. Subscription state determines whether the app is entitled to run.
Who else processes it
- Shopify — the source and destination of all product data
- Railway — hosting and the PostgreSQL database where the above is stored
- Your print-on-demand provider — sends the app a notification when you publish a product
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.
Retention and deletion
Uninstalling the app deletes your store's record, tokens, rules and sync history automatically. We also honour Shopify's mandatory data erasure requests. If you want your data removed without uninstalling, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
If you are in the UK or EU you may request a copy of the data we hold about your store, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it. We respond to such requests within 30 days.
